Everest Academy is sponsored by Everest Family Ministry in the Birmingham Metro Area. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Play Dates

Park Days, Activities & Other Ongoing Play Dates  


Park Days are such a wonderful time not only for the little ones to play together, but the support that is shared among the parents is invaluable. Please note Adamsville Park Day hosted at Spring Street Park in Adamsville is the official park day of Everest Academy.


Adamsville Spring Street Park – This park day is on 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at noon until whenever. Come on out and spend the day playing and socializing. All age children are welcome. This is an awesome park with plenty to do for everyone. A special invite goes out to teens.  In addition to park day, we always invite you to bring your Free Cycle items. These items might include but are not limited to books, curriculum, toys, clothes, etc... Bring anything you think might benefit another family.  Directions:  This is the address to the Adamsville Fire Department:  4828 Main Street, Adamsville, AL 35005-1990 .  Spring Street Park is about a block behind the fire department on the same road.  There is a great playground, football field, wooded area, and walking track.
