We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Re-enrollment

It's that time of the year again!!!  Early Bird Re-enrollment ends on May 31.



RE-ENROLLING: Each year every returning Everest Academy homeschooling family must fill out and send in the Re-enrollment Form between March 1 and August 31, including the fees as listed below, for the upcoming homeschool year. Please inform Everest Academy if you plan to enroll somewhere else as we are legally required by Alabama Law to send an official letter to the various Board of Education offices listing any students that did not re-enroll. We begin turning in letters to the BOE on September 1.


Definitions:  Re-enrollment is for anyone CURRENTLY enrolled in Everest Academy who is re-enrolling for the next year.  Re-enrollment is NOT for someone who was enrolled with Everest Academy in the past and has since been enrolled in another school and wanting to return to Everest Academy.  In this case, the person needs to complete the new enrollment process.  


Fees:
  • Early Bird Re-enrollment - Postmarked March 1 through May 31:  $90
  • Regular Re-enrollment - Postmarked June 1 - July 15:  $100
  • Late Re-enrollment - Postmarked July 16 - August 31:  $150
  • If postmarked after August 31, this is considered a new enrollment and will incur the regular enrollment fee of $200
Re-enrollment with Everest Academy just got easier! Did you know that you can re-enroll with Everest Academy via the internet? You can even go completely paper free and mail free if you send your payment via Paypal. I just love technology!!! 

There are two options to re-enroll:
1. Quickest & Easiest - Fill out the paperwork and make payment on-line here.

or

2. Print out the paperwork and mail it along with payment here.  If you are adding an additional child to your enrollment, please include a $20 fee and a note stating you are adding children.  We will send you the form to sign electronically.  If you would rather not sign the form electronically, Print 3 of these (per child) and mail along with $20.


Please note:  The last two years I have spent a considerable amount of time on collections for families who have re-enrolled and not sent in their re-enrollment fee.  Re-enrollments will not be accepted without payment.  If there is an extreme financial hardship, please contact Everest Academy to set up a payment schedule.  

Please remember that you do not send in anything to your local Board of Education for re-enrollments. That is a process you only have to go through at the time of initial enrollment.
