- Gadsden Drama Classes - The classes will be held on the campus of Coosa Christian School/Crosspoint Community Church. They are open to students in 7th-12th grade. For more information please email me, Angela Montgomery at angelbird21@hotmail.com. Instructor Kim Anderson: This course is to give students an appreciation of experience in theater as an art form. The students will act, direct, or be technically involved in scenes and short classroom productions. They will read, write and evaluate plays as well as view and critique video and live performances. A full length play will be performed at the end of the 4th 9 weeks.

- Birmingham The YES (Youth Empowering Selves) Ambassadors is a theatrical youth group that delivers a socially uplifting message through drama, choreography and voice. Auditions are open to metro area teens ages 13-18. No prior theatre experiences is required, however this free program is for youth with promise, focus and discipline. Call Hollis Johnson at 320-7021 for information. Youth accepted into the program will train Monday through Friday (8:30 am until 1:00 pm) from June 2 through June 30. The theatre camp is directed by Doris Brewster. The YES Ambassadors will present at the Carver Theater 11 performances of an original production. - Wetumpka Dragonfly Drama Club, open to all homeschoolers ages 5+ in the Wetumpka/Montgomery and surrounding areas. It is free to join and any costs that come up will be low-cost. This is a brand new club, but we are very excited to get as much participation as possible! The meetings will be twice a month, the 2nd and 4th mondays of each month. Our meetings start in February, on the 8th. The meetings will usually take place in Wetumpka.
