Registration is now open for The Master's Academy of Fine Art. The Master's Academy program is divided into two full fine arts schools designed specifically for homeschooled children in K4–6th grade and 7th–12th grade. Meeting one day a week, children are exposed to the arts from a Christian historical perspective. Master’s Academy meets on Tuesdays from 12:00–3:30pm.
Each year the arts are taught from a specific time period beginning with Ancient Civilizations, then moving on to the Medieval/Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern periods on a six year cycle. Each year is self-contained; a student need not be involved for the full six years, nor do they need to begin at the Ancient Civilizations period in order to benefit from the program. The program is based on a Christ-centered history curriculum and incorporates the fine arts classes throughout the day (i.e., drama, art, and music).
Master’s Academy also offers classes for Primary Science, Time Period Science, General Science, Literature I & II, and Word Roots. Please visit reclaimrestorerelease.com for more information.
Field trips are organized as well as mid-year and end of year programs showcasing the students’ talents in artwork, drama and music. The current year’s studies have been focused on Ancient Civilizations; next year, the Medieval/Renaissance time period will be studied.
