Jr Teen Scene of Birmingham
Is your homeschooled junior teen needing social activities, but you feel s/he is just not quite old enough to hang out with the teen groups? Jr. TeenScene is here to solve your problem!
Jr TeenScene of Birmingham is a social activity network for homeschooled children ages 11-14 in the Greater Birmingham area of Alabama. Like the TeenScene groups, this group will be a child/parent-led group where each family is responsible for planning at least one event during the year.
This group is open to all homeschool families with junior teens, regardless of church/cover school enrollment, homeschool method, or religious affiliation. Please keep this in mind when attending events or planning an event to host. For this group, Jr Teen is any child falling in the 11-14 age range by Dec 31 of the current school year.
Past events have included skating & Lasertag meet-ups, a Cici's Pizza tour, $1.00 movie meet-ups, a fencing introduction, an overnight stay at the Bham Zoo, a Christmas party, and more. Can't wait to see what the new year brings!!
