We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Teen Ambassador: Chandler Taylor

Chandler Taylor

My name is Chandler Taylor, and I am a 14-year-old homeschooler.  I love to fish, hunt and hike; mostly anything that can be done outdoors. I play guitar, and I'm learning to play the fiddle. I also love animals.  I love studying animals, but I also enjoy caring for them.  I have two Shihtzus and four chickens.  I am also a member of the Boy Scouts of America, troop 159 of Locust Fork, Alabama.  I love being homeschooled.  I mostly love that I get to study things I love, and I also like that I can move ahead when I am ready to instead of keeping the same pace all year.  I love music, Braves baseball, Alabama football, camping and swimming.  I am glad to be an Ambassador for homeschooling because I really think that homeschooling is a wonderful thing.  I am proud to tell people that I am homeschooled and I love answering their questions.
