Bessemer Homeschool P.E. Classes at Bessemer Legacy Y on Wednesdays 1-3pm for ages 5 and up. Phone – (205) 426-1211. Dress: All students need to wear athletic shoes. Flip-flops / sandals or dress shoes will not be permitted. Shorts, sweats or jogging clothes are necessary to do all activities. Join other homeschoolers at the Homeschool P.E. program at the Legacy YMCA in Bessemer. This program is offered every Wednesday from 1 -3 pm. Meet in the gym for a few minutes of warm-up before breaking into groups. This program offers group skills activities, sports, aerobics, weight training, swimming and making lots of new friends. All students are asked to wear athletic shoes as well as shorts, sweats or jogging clothes. It is also important to be on time as the kids split up into groups based on age (younger vs. older) shortly after 1 pm. The minimum age requirement is 5 yrs of age. Registration is required one week prior to the new month and a $10 late fee will be assessed for payment after the deadline.
