Birmingham Fencing Club
The Birmingham Fencing Club provides a chance to try fencing at no cost for one day every month. It is held on the second Saturday of each month, from 10:30am to 11:30am, unless otherwise noted. All equipment is provided, so just dress comfortably... shorts, t-shirt and athletic shoes. Loose fitting clothes are best. Be prepared for an exciting afternoon. You'll learn a little about the history of fencing, the weapons we use, and the equipment we wear. Then you'll learn the basic actions used in fencing. Best of all, you'll get to fence with other visitors to Free Fencing and our coaches. Free Fencing is open to adults, and children ages 7 and up. Parents must accompany children under the age of 18.
