Small Wonders (Funded by The Children’s Trust Fund) is a program designed to support families who are caring for a child who is chronically ill, medically fragile, or developmentally delayed. This program currently has openings and services are provided in the family’s natural environment which allows the intervention to be individualized and tailored to the needs of each family. Through a comprehensive assessment of the family’s needs, the program’s caring staff in partnership with the family is able to determine what the most pressing needs are within the family.
The services are provided through weekly home visits with interventions usually lasting four weeks.The program is available free of charge to families in Jefferson and Shelby Counties. Please call Brandi Chelette at 945-6000 for more information.
