We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

1st Friday Park Days at Bham's Railroad Park ~ ALL homeschoolers welcome!

This Park Day has been cancelled at this time due to major city construction directly across the street. 

Join other homeschoolers for fun at the park!

We will meet on the first Friday of each month,
from noon to 3:00pm
at Railroad Park
You can find more park information and directions on the Railroad Park site.

The Park has a large open pavilion with restrooms as well as several open field areas for the kids to play. There is a small playground and an area for skaters to ride in "the bowls". So, don't forget your skateboards or inlines!
Since some play areas like the playground are located some distance from the pavilion, you may wish to bring some lawn chairs or picnic blankets.

Look for our group on the benches located between the playground & "the bowls", which are closer the 14th St S end of the park.

Railroad Park is monitored around the clock by a state-of-the-art security system and by rangers on patrol.
