March 19-23, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aldridge Gardens will open up its 5-acre lake for young anglers ages 4 to 15 to fish to their hearts’ content. Professional fishermen will be on hand part of each day to answer and questions and provide assistance. On Friday, there will be six to eight professional fishermen on hand to give one-on-one instruction. There will also be prizes and give aways, including rods and reels and a free fishing day with fishing pro Lloyd Smith. The Gardens has several rods and reels for check out at no charge on a first-come basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
