April 27-29, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The 29th annual Magic City Art Connection contemporary art festival, presented by BBVA Compass, transforms Linn Park with its blast of fresh artistic talent, sights, sounds and aromas. Choose art from among 215 juried artists. Then add in the experience of Corks and Chefs: Food and Wine Tasting Event, 30 interactive art workshops for kids, live music and cultural/dance performances, large-scale art installations and eating all day. Plus, catch the BBVA Compass special feature: NBA Team. Works. On Tour with guest appearances by NBA legends Otis Birdsong from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday and Robert Horry from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday.
