We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

First Mondays, Monthly: The Brown Bag Book Club for Bham Homeschoolers


The Brown Bag Book Club is a book club for Birmingham area homeschoolers in grades 3-6. It is open to all interested homeschoolers. Each month students will read the pre-selected book from our book list. Students will gather once a month to discuss the book they read the previous month. Each student will be given a set of questions about the book to help guide them in this discussion.

*Please Note: All students need to be able to read chapter books, or a parent will need to be willing to read the book to them. 

Meetings will be held the first Monday of every month starting in August from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Locations will vary, but will be in or near the Birmingham Area.
