The six week series runs on Wednesday 11:00am-12:30pm mountain time. Right now it only costs $30 for six lessons. You may also view the recordings of lessons at your leisure for $10!
Sign up for this online, interactive chess strategy class taught by chess expert, Zachary Bekkedahl. It is a six week series on Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura! He is the number one player in America, 6th highest rated player in the world and America’s recent chess prodigy. He has a very creative and complicated style. It will be fun to go over his achievements and goals as well as look at his best games and learn from his expertise!
Lessons are interactive but also recorded, so if you miss one you can go back through the recording online. The classes are held in an online classroom. Upon signing up, you will be given a password which gives you access to the room. You will be able to hear and see what the instructor is doing on the chess board and you can talk as well or type in your questions as the lesson is taking place. Following each class, students have a chance practice what they have learned by playing each other while the instructor observes and gives suggestions to help you improve your chess game! Next session is Wednesday, May 16th 2012 and each Wednesday for six weeks thereafter.
