We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

May 30, Huntsville: Used Curriculum Sale


HOPE is hosting a Used Curriculum Sale from 10am-3pm on Wednesday, May 30th! Shady Grove United Methodist Church has graciously opened their doors to us. Shady Grove UMC is at 11044 Wall Triana Hwy, Toney, AL.  We will have a potluck lunch fellowship together at 12:30pm. Feel free to bring finger foods to share if you wish to participate in our potluck. HOPE Members will be given first priority for the Used Curriculum Sale Table Spaces for only $5 each (1/2 banquet table size) or $5.50 via PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=P5B8LZLEHN342  You may reserve more than one space (as space allows). If you are not a member of HOPE, please call me to confirm that your payment has been recieved. Please do not mail checks to the church, as the mail is only checked twice a week. Your table will be confirmed upon payment. Feel free to call me with any questions (256) 513-9212. We will also be hosting a Silent Auction to benefit the Shady Grove UMC Building Fund. This should be a LOT of fun!

We will also have a representative from Calhoun Community College at 10:30am. She will be there to answer questions about the dual enrollment program and college admission. If you have High School students, this is a PRIME opportunity to get the info you really want and/or need! What a blessing!
