FREE!!! Chief Rita Skelton, one of three chiefs of the Cherokee Indian Tribe of Northeast Alabama, will present a program on the culture of the Cherokee & Creek Indians who lived in Blount County and Alabama before European settlement. There will be 2 sessions on Thurs. June 14th. 1st: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM & 2nd: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM. They will be open to the public (children & adults). Both sessions will be held at The Depot on Hwy 75 N in Oneonta. The presentations will include a demonstration of axe-throwing & bow-and-arrow marksmanship. Hope to see you there!
