Prattville's Autauga Creek Inaugural Weekend Paddle!
Friday, July 20th through Sunday, July 22nd
Prattville, Alabama
"In the 1830s, industrialist Daniel Pratt saw the power of Autauga Creek as the perfect place to situate his enterprise, the cloth mills that would bear his name. The imposing mills still stand in the center of town after all these years, but they are as idle as the waters of the millpond they impound. Today, the Autauga Creek Improvement Committee (ACIC) is establishing a first-class paddling opportunity and plan to establish an outfitter there, too.."

The festivities begin on Daniel Pratt's birthday, along the Cypress Swamp, followed by dinner and Dr. Bob's Traveling Snake Show.
