We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Aug. 25, Huntsville: Green U-Home & Health Event

Huntsville Botanical Garden will have a Green U-Home and Health Initiative Saturday, August 25 from 9am-3pm. This family-friendly event features food demonstrations and ways to make your home and life more energy efficient. Admission is 5 recyclable items or $5!

Here's the list of items you could bring:

Cell phones
Aluminum cans
Plastic bottles (with lids separated)
Terracycle Products (will be recycled by Nexus Energy)
Dry cell household batteries
Used toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes.
Used MP3 player
Drink pouches
Old pairs of shoes
