Everest Academy is sponsored by Everest Family Ministry in the Birmingham Metro Area. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Mobile: Homeschool Photography Class

RE    Photography Class
FR:    Martha Benton, Director

It's truly an honor to have Bill Starling, Chief of Photography at the Mobile Press Register, offer to teach an Introduction to Photography Class this fall.  Bill and his wife Kathy are long-time homeschoolers in the Mobile area and have participated in our classes at CHS for the past few years.

To be more accommodating to our homeschool families, we have decided to change the class to 1 pm instead of 12 pm.  In light of these changes, if you would like to enroll in Bill's photography class then you should contact him directly as soon as possible at starlingphoto@me.com

He will need a total of 10 students to enroll in his class, and we plan to keep the enrollment open as long as possible to make this happen!

You are welcome to share this information with friends outside of CHS, but keep in mind that new families will need to apply to CHS in order to enroll in his class.
