We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

*Sign-up Closed* Turkey Creek Nature Preserve Environmental Education Series (5 Tues classes for 7-12th gr)


Turkey Creek Nature Preserve is providing an Environmental Education series for Everest Academy that is open to all homeschool students in grades 7th to 12th.

Students will have the opportunity to discover the natural and historical wonders of TCNP by conducting hands on scientific investigations with state-of-the-art technologies. The suggested courses of study include: Water Chemistry Monitoring, Stream Ecology, Land Stewardship, Geo Caching, and Living History.

Dates: Classes held every other Tuesday, starting Sept 18

Time: 1:00-3:00pm

Cost: 5 class series is $25.00/student
