Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Monthly, Clay/Pinson: Homeschool LEGO Club

Everest Academy
LEGO Club
  • This club is for homeschoolers who are interested in all things LEGO.  We meet once a month at the Clay Community Center (address below) where we will share our creations with our fellow LEGO enthusiasts.
  • There is really no minimum or maximum age.  You just have to love LEGOs and be able to build on your own and stay in your seat quietly while your fellow club mates are presenting their creations.  If not, I just ask that the parent stay with their child to help them.
  • We have club LEGOs, so you do not have to bring your own LEGOs.  We would, however, love for you to bring any creations you have made at home for "show and tell".

Happy building

Our first meeting will have a "freestyle" theme.  So have your sweet kiddos bring anything they want to share.  It can be something they have been working on all summer or one of their favorite builds or whatever.  I will have a few of the things I have been working on as well :)

This club is sponsored by Everest Academy but open to all homeschoolers.  For more information,  please contact Jen Bohan at jenbohan77@gmail.com .

Please review the Everest Academy Participation Policy before attending any of our events.
