Dear Student:
We are excited to learn that you have an interest in the field of Manufacturing or Engineering. We are offering students from the greater Birmingham area the opportunity to join our ACIPCO Engineering Explorers program. Our mission is to expose students to a variety of engineering disciplines. We do this through topical meetings, tours, and design competitions. During the course of the program, tickets are awarded which can be entered into our semester-ending ticket drawing. The drawing gives you the chance to win prizes such as electronics, a trip to the University of Alabama’s SITE program, and two scholarships worth $500 each for graduating seniors.
You are invited to attend a kickoff meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
here at ACIPCO’s Y Auditorium. Registration for the program will begin during the kickoff meeting. We are excited about the direction of our Explorers program and hope you will consider joining us this year. See you there!
