Thanks for helping us get the word out about the Health Careers Explorer Post at Shelby Baptist Hospital. I wanted to let you know that their first regular meeting is set for this Thursday, September 27th, and that students who missed the kick-off are still welcome to come and join. Our experience tells us that there are always a few who were busy, didn’t get the word, or who just plain forgot (because they are teenagers, after all!). If you can share a reminder, we would appreciate it.
This Post splits their meetings into 2 sessions: one from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and one from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Both sessions are identical, and students are free to choose whichever session best fits their schedule. They overlap a half hour in the middle for group discussion and pizza.
