The U.S. Space and Rocket Center has the opportunity to have students participate in a Digital Learning experience next Thursday at 11:00am. This event will be a behind the scenes look at Johnson Space Center Mission Control. Students will have a direct connection to the Public Affairs console and will witness the inner workings of the International Space Station’s (ISS) Mission Control! Additional Flight Control Officers specializing in life support, power, data/communications and robotics may be also be available to speak with students. We currently have Space Campers set to attend and have about 30 seats left we want to offer up for our homeschool partners to join us. If you are interested please send an email to Charlene Pittman at charlenep@spacecamp.com with your name and number in your party. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior and remain there for the hour long event. You will need to go to the education building at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. This is the first building onsite, just in front of the Marriott hotel and has the NASA logo on the front. Someone from our education department will be there to direct you. Please feel free to forward this on to your groups.
Additionally, if you haven’t signed up for our museum homeschool day or our 5 week long homeschool series for this fall please take a minute to check out www.spacecamp.com/homeschool for more information and to get registered!
Thanks and have a great weekend!
