We are a new Girl Scout Troop. We are a home school Cadette troop which means 6th, 7th, and 8th grades or ages 11-14. We will consider adding juniors (4th and 5th grades) if there are enough younger sisters of Cadettes interested. We will be meeting on Fridays at noon in Hoover. We are outdoor-oriented, learning/badge oriented, and service oriented, and will be working on our silver awards. We are a co-op troop. What this means is that every mom in the troop will be a registered co-leader. This has obvious benefits to all of us and to our girls! It is easy to become a co-leader. You just have to fill out a volunteer form and pass the background check (both are free of charge) and register as a girl scout.
