We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Did you know that October is Bat Appreciation Month? Bart the Art Bat invites you to join him at the Birmingham Museum of Art during his favorite month for his favorite holiday - Halloween! It's almost time forBart's Spooktacular! 
 

Art Activities and Treats

  • Pumpkin Decorating - make one for fun or for fright!
  • Create your own special trick-or-treat bag to collect all your candy!
  • Keep up your energy with popcorn and lemonade!
Petting Zoo and Balloon Animals

Celebrate fall with Bart's animal friends from T&N Acres petting zoo!  Take home a balloon animal as a souvenir!

Bart's Books

This special edition of Bart's Books brings twice the fun with two fall-themed books for everyone to enjoy!

Costume Parade

Can't wait for October 31st?  Show off your costume early in a parade around the Museum! Find creative costume ideas on our Pinterest page, on the Bart's Kids Club board!
