Wiregrass Homeschool Nature Study Club
You are invited to a
scavenger hunt! We will be exploring the nature trails at Landmark Park making
observations and learning about native species of plants and animals. We are
planning on scavenger hunt activities for both younger and older students. We
will collect specimens and have time after the hunt to sketch and record our
findings in our nature journals. You will want to bring nature journals, sketch
supplies, camera, and field guides. After the nature study class we will meet
on the playground for lunch and play, so be sure to bring a lunch.
Date: Thursday, October 25
Time: 10:00-11:30 for the Nature Study Club
Arrive 9:45am at gazebo & leave promptly at 10am / optional lunch and playground time follows
Location: Landmark Park
Hwy 431, Dothan, AL
Grades: K-12 for the Nature Study Club, supervised younger siblings welcome
Cost: You will have to pay for entry to Landmark Park if you are
not members.
$4.00 for adults and $3.00 for children ages 3-12.
