We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Dec. 1, Guntersville: Guntersville Civil War Christmas Ball


Take a step back in time on December 1, 2012, at the Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge for a Civil War Christmas Ball. The event begins at 7 p.m. and will feature live 1860s-period music and renowned photographer Marty Clark. Period attire is encouraged but not required.

A limited amount of tickets will be sold. Couples, individuals and children are all welcome. Prices are $35 per couple, $20 for individuals and $8 for children 12 and under. Refreshments will be provided.
