We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

The Desert Island Supply Co. is celebrating the grand opening of its new space on Saturday, November 17, with The Hobbit Read-a-Thon, a day-long, out-loud, nonstop reading of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic. 
 
The read-a-thon is open to all ages. Costumes are encouraged! Alongside the read-a-thon, we will have games, storytelling, crafts and writing booths. The Shindigs food truck will be outside for a good chunk of the day, and The J. Clyde is sponsoring a mead-and-ale happy hour.
