Nov. 19, Huntsville: Explorer Post (Ages 15 and up)

Just got the info on an Open House that the Huntsville Fire Department is having for their Explorer Post next week.  I know this is short notice, but if you could share this with your contacts in the Huntsville and Madison County area, we would greatly appreciate it!

The Fire and Emergency Service Explorer Post with the Huntsville Fire Department is having an Open House next Monday, November 19th, 6:00 p.m. at the City of Huntsville Training Academy (3011 Sparkman Drive).  Young men and women between the ages of 15 and 20 who are interested in finding out more about career opportunities in Fire Service and EMS are invited to come and learn more about the program.  In Exploring, young people get a hands-on, behind the scenes look at a career field.  As a part of the Huntsville Fire Department Explorer Post, students will learn about firefighting and train with current Huntsville firefighters.  Your parents are welcome to attend the Open House with you to get more information.  If you have questions, please call Captain Bruce Swanson at(256) 851-4031.
