We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Jan. 17 - Feb. 7, Daphne: Kids in the Kitchen

The Bounds YMCA in Daphne is taking registration for their Kids in the Kitchen program. The program will teach children and their families about healthy foods, physical activity and the importance of eating healthy. It's a 4-week program meeting every Thurs from 5:30-6:30. Cost: $10 per family of 4 and $2 for each additional family member. Starts Jan 17-Feb 7. Register at the Y. Call 626-0888 for more info.
