Jefferson State will award twenty full-tuition scholarships to outstanding high school students who will be enrolling in the Fall Semester 2013. These are one-year scholarships which may be renewed for one additional year provided the recipient meets the criteria for renewal. Students must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA at the end of their first semester of their senior year and a minimum score of 22 on the ACT. The student must be a U.S. citizen or provide proper documented residency status.
The application may be found at www.jeffstateonline.com. Seniors must fill out an application for admission and fill out the scholarship application. The application is located on the scroll bar on the Jefferson State Community College homepage and under the Financial Aid tab, then Scholarships. Also required: one recommendation and a two page essay stating why the student wants to attend Jefferson State should be attached to the application packet.
