We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

THIS FIELDTRIP IS FULL!!

Date:  Wednesday, April 10
Time:  12:30pm  (arrive 12:15)
Location:  Golden Flake
1 Golden Flake Drive, Birmingham, AL 35205

Details:  This is a tour of the Golden Flake potato chip plant in Birmingham, AL for ages 10 years old and older only (NO younger siblings). To tour the plant, participants must wear long pants or jeans and flat, rubber soled fully enclosed shoes (NO sandals, flip flops, clogs, etc.). You will also be asked to remove all loose jewelry and leave all bags/purses in the waiting area, so you might want to just leave all that in the car.
Cost:  $5.00 deposit per family, refunded upon attendance
Sign-up Deadline:  February 9
Due to attendance limitations, this is open to Everest Academy families only at this time.
