We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Feb. 23, March 2, & April 7, Pell City: Camp Winnataska Open House and Leader Position

Is your child interested in going to summer camp? Come take a tour of Camp Winnataska and see why we have been "Christian Camping at its Best" since 1918! Winnataska is located outside of Birmingham, AL in Pell City. This year, our Open Houses are scheduled from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 23rd, Saturday, March 2nd, and Sunday, April 7th. Anyone interested can email info@winnataska.org for more info. You can also browse the website here: http://winnataska.org/ (Please note: Although the website indicates the leader application deadline has passed, we are always in need of more male leaders than we have apply. So if you have a son who has completed the 10th grade who would like to serve as a leader for a week or two this summer, the leadership experience and friends they make can be life changing.)
