There is a new Ag program for kids in Cullman. It is the "Farm Kids Club" sponsored by the North Alabama Agriplex Board and Peinhardt Living History Farm. There will be a program once a month, beginning at 9 a.m. Each program will be held at the North Alabama Agriplex Bulding (located at the Peinhardt Living History farm) 1714 Talley Ho St. SW, Cullman, across from the Cullman Bowling Alley.
The program is for children ages Kindergarten and up and they must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $5 per child. To register call, 256-297-1044 or email Cullmanag@gmail.com.
This Saturday, March 2nd, 9:00-10:30, we are having Farm Kid's Club about Great Gourds! The Alabama Gourd Society will be leading the program with a skit, storytelling, crafting a gourd, show and tell, and gourd seeds to take home and plant.
WE ARE LIMITED TO 23 PARTICIPANTS, SO PLEASE REGISTER SOON IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND!! This should be a great program, and worth your $5 per child. In April, we will have our Farm Kid's Club all about Cattle.
