We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

May 8, Bham: Sloss Furnaces Tour & Iron Pour *Deadline this Friday!!*

Time:  10:00am  (arrive 9:30am)
Location:  Sloss Furnaces Natl Historic Landmark
Twenty 32nd Street N., Birmingham, AL 35222

Details:  Sloss furnaces has a history of a 100 year tradition of iron pouring. Tour the funace, undergrouond railroad tunnel, and the blowing machine room. Design your own original iron paperweight and watch an iron pouring.

This field trip is for ages 10 and older. (No younger siblings, please)

Cost:  $16.00/person
