Wow! So proud of you Summer! So much for them "unsocialized homeschoolers"!!!
Summer Meadows, 11 years old, and soon to be a 7th grade student with Everest Academy recently won the title of Miss Personality 2013 in the National American Miss Alabama Pre Teen pageant. The Pageant was held in Montgomery, Al on June 8th. Summer was nominated by the other contestants for this title. There were eighty-eight contestants in the pageant and they had to nominate the girl that was the friendliest with the most outgoing personality and Summer was their choice. This was Summer 's first pageant and we are so proud of her for winning this title. In this pageant there are four categories that were required for the contestants to enter. The personal introduction, personal interview, formal wear, and community involvement. This is an all natural pageant where the contestants are not allowed to wear makeup. Summer also entered the optional actress competition and the top model competition. She loves acting and singing and making new friends. Summer said, she was proud of winning Miss Personality because this is proof that homeschoolers are socialized and outgoing! Way to go Miss Alabama's Miss Personality 2013, you are truly a shining star!
