Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Deadlines in Oct, Nov, & Dec: National Writing & Art Contests

Join us for our 2013-2014 national writing and art contests.

Homeschoolers, Be Published…Win Cash Prizes!
Join us for Creative Communication's poetry, essay, and art contests. Each year we have several home school national winners that have submitted impressive work. We would be delighted to see entries from Everest Academy this year.

Our contests are a proven method to motivate students. Give yours this opportunity by sending us their poetry, essays, and art, and let our judges choose the best entries.

Creative Communication is dedicated to promoting the arts and has sponsored student contests for over 20 years. Our philosophy is to be selective so that is is an honor to be published, but not so exclusive that it is discouraging to enter our contests.

This is not a contest where every entry is accepted, and there are no entry fees or requirements to purchase an anthology in order to be published. Our hardbound books create a wonderful record of your students' work.
