Photography class coming up at Gulf State Park.
Gulf State Park will be hosting a photography class, taught by our Resident Ranger/Photographer, Roger Reetz. Roger is the one who takes and posts most of the pictures you see on Gulf State Park’s Facebook page. The class will be an intensive 8-10 hour study, starting with “this is a camera” and covering such topics as composition, portraits, nature photography, existing light photography, landscapes, going manual, ohoto editing apps, and much more. It will be beneficial for both “Point and Shoot” and DSLR camera owners (Some parts are DSLR specific). Weather permitting, we will also get some hands on practice with taking pictures outdoors. The course will be held at the Gulf State Park Nature Center Classroom, in our Camp Ground. It will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 and will start at 9:00 a.m. The cost of the class is $50 (check or cash). We will break for lunch and possibly dinner depending on how long the class runs. For more information or to register for the class, please email Roger at email@example.com.
