- Cross Streets: Between E Main St/Columbia Hwy and N Cherry St/N College St/N Appletree St
Details: Everest Academy homeschoolers and any interested area homeschoolers will take a guided tour and then do a craft. Ages are preschool and up, with age appropriate options available. If we have enough (over 15 children), we can form two groups, an older group and a younger group. While one group tours, the other works on a craft and vice versa. This is a wonderful little gem in our area, so let's support our local arts! After the museum, head to Kiwanis park for lunch and playtime.
Date: Friday, March 7, 2014
Time: 10AM (doors open at 10, so arrive on time but be aware you won't be able to go inside any earlier than 10) We of course want to begin our tour as close to 10 as possible. The tour and craft combo only take about an hour together; about 30 minutes each.
Cost: $5 per child, $3 per adult chaperone (little ones who will not be doing a craft are free)
DEADLINE: Deadline for signup, payment, and cancellation is Friday, February 28th! We do have a minimum/maximum that can/must attend, so no refund after Feb. 28.
SPECIAL INFORMATION: Please note that the Annual Youth Art Month Exhibition will be going on in March, for grades K-12 and we will get to see the winners. (Deadline to enter Feb. 14) There are also various free things going on during the month, aside from this special home school tour. Check out this link for more info:
