Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

June & July, Bham: Summer Art Camp

Summer Art Camp at the Birmingham Museum of Art is the only summer experience that gives kids access to our collection of artworks from around the world. Give your child a summer of endless inspiration at the Museum! Register today!

  Little Masters: Grades K5-2
July 7-11 and July 14-18

Two camps are offered for Little Masters,All About Africa and Japanamania! 

Morning, afternoon, and all-day sessions are available for your little one! Click hereto find the time that is best for you!
  Young Artists: Grades 3-5
June 16-20 and June 23-27  

All About Africa is offered all day (9AM-3PM) both weeks!

Each week features a different curriculum.Click here to register for one or both weeks!
Summer Academy: Grades 6-12
July 21-25

Students will enhance their art practice and build their portfolio with a week of professional-level art making and instruction!

The students will take inspiration from African and Japanese cultures to create artworks about power, symbolism, and concepts of beauty. Register here!
