Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Lyceum Scholars Scholarship Opportunity

Greetings,

I would like to bring a new scholarship opportunity to your attention that may interest members of your home school group.

The Lyceum Scholars Program offers four-year scholarships worth up to $10,000 to students who attend Clemson University, located in Clemson, South Carolina. Students in the program study the moral, political, and economic foundations of a free society. In addition to receiving a scholarship and taking one class together per semester, Lyceum Scholars are paired with a faculty mentor who guides their intellectual and moral development throughout their four years in the program.

What makes the Lyceum Scholars Program unique from other specialized programs at other universities is our commitment to presenting fundamental, timeless, and life-changing ideas. We believe the best education is one that develops every aspect of a person. Our program curriculum focuses not only on building students' intellectual skills, but developing their moral character as well.

I encourage you to share this opportunity with any students who may be interested. More information can be found at https://capitalism.sites.clemson.edu/lyceum.html .  And do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
