Good afternoon,
I want to share with your students and parents that I am now offering private acting lessons during the week, in addition to weekend instruction.
Having headed the theatre program at John Carroll HS for 10 years, and the education program at the Birmingham Children's Theatre for five, I now have my own studio offering classes in Mt. Brook Village.
If you feel that your students would benefit from my services, I would greatly appreciate that you pass on my website (www.danepetersonstudio.com) to them. One of your students, LaMana Stringfellow has studied with me for over three years, should reference/recommendation be needed.
Best-
Dane

Why take lessons with Dane?
Private lessons provide an excellent opportunity to grow as an actor. Based in Constantin Stansilavski and Richard Boleslavsky acting traditions, we will work together to find your personal method for creating an honest, real and believable character in scene work and with your next role on stage.
Whether you are hoping to develop your character analysis skills, learn to 'act' a song, work on show audition materials, prep for college scholarships or just enhance your communication skills… we will work together to meet your goals!
Classes are tailored for each student's needs and are rooted in the discovering the character's immediate tactics and overall objectives.
First stepping on a professional stage in 1987, Dane shares more than two decades of theatre experience with each student. Dane is an associate member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers and an Equity Membership Candidate with Actors' Equity Association. He has served as the theatre director for John Carroll High School from 1997 to 2007 as well as the Director of Education for Birmingham Children's Theatre from 2008 to 2013.
