Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

To all Students & Parents on our Birmingham, Alabama Notification List:

We just wanted to reach out to let you know that it doesn?t look like Driver?s Edge will be able to return to the Birmingham area until possibly 2016.  That said, we at least wanted to make you aware that we were able to schedule an event in the Atlanta area on October 18 & 19 at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Registration for this event is currently open on our website (www.driversedge.org) and a direct link to the registration page can be found here:   (http://driversedge.org/tour

There are four sessions to choose from:

Saturday, October 18, 8:00am - 12:30pm
Saturday, October 18, 1:00pm - 5:30pm

Sunday, October 19, 8:00am - 12:30pm
Sunday, October 19, 1:00pm - 5:30pm

PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE SESSION.

All those who register will receive an e-mail with event details approximately one week prior to the event date.

Registration is open to all young drivers aged 21 and younger with a valid driver?s license or permit.

As a non-profit organization and public charity, we rely heavily on donations from caring contributors.  Should you wish to make a donation, anything you can give is greatly appreciated and is tax deductible.  You can donate directly through this link to Network for Good, an online network dedicated to helping charities like ours:

Again, we?re sorry that we?re currently not able to return to the Birmingham market, but since Atlanta is as close as we will be to your area, we at least wanted to make you aware of our event.

Thank you for your interest in Driver?s Edge and we hope to see you in a couple of weeks.
