Dear Mrs. Spradlin
My name is Kathleen Lavallee, and I am a Dyslexia Tutor here in the Madison Area. My goal is to help students who are struggling to read, write, and spell. I am now recruiting new students for the summer and fall. I currently tutor several homeschooled students, and I am reaching out to you with the hope of helping more.
I am a certified K-6 and Special Education teacher with a Bachelors from Samford University. I am also pursuing a Masters degree in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College. I spent several years in elementary education, including general and special education. I have started my own business, Huntsville Tutoring Company, so that I can really focus on helping students who are struggling with reading and writing skills. I use an Orton‑Gillingham‑based tutoring approach that uses a variety of multisensory techniques, and I have had great success with my students. I do not require any official Dyslexia diagnosis, and I tutor students of all ages.
This letter’s purpose is to reach out to you and to ask that you would pass my information along to any families who would be interested in tutoring for their children. If you would like more information, you can visit my website, www.HuntsvilleTutoringCompany. com, or you can email me at HuntsvilleTutoringCompany@ gmail.com to ask any specific questions.
Thank you in advance for passing my information along, and I look forward to helping your children.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Lavallee
