Creek Kids Watershed Workshop

Experience Little River’s watershed and learn how it connects to the rest of Alabama and our oceans. We will walk down to Laurel Creek and the West Fork of Little River to view native fish and macroinvertebrates such as dragonfly nymphs, crayfish, mussels, snails and whatever else we can find! Participants will learn about the impacts of dams on waterways and learn how pollution moves through aquatic environments.
Fee: Free & open to ages 8 to adult.
