Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Fall 2015, Irondale: Homeschool Volleyball

I hope this letter finds you all well.  Please let all your homeschool families know we will be starting Volleyball practices this week.  We are opening it up to anyone who is still interested.  We've had several express interest who were out of town during the clinics and/or tryouts.  In addition, we are in need of about two more players to make sure we have substitutes when needed.   This week our practices will be as follows:

Monday - August 3rd - 2pm to 4pm
Tuesday - August 4th - 3pm to 4pm
Thursday - August 6th - 2pm to 4pm
Friday - August 7th - 2pm to 4pm

After this week we will have 2 to 3 practices a week depending on game schedule.  If ANYONE is still interested they can attend any and all of these practices.  If they have any questions they can contact our Athletic Director, Ashley Atkinson by text/phone 205-587-1974 or email at apatkinson74@gmail.com.  She would love to answer any questions!

Practices are held at Southern Performance Volleyball Complex in Irondale.  The address is 4759 Alton Court, Irondale, AL  35210
