Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Oct. 14, 2015 (Deadline Oct. 7) Mobile: Beginning Ceramics Homeschool Workshop

The University of Mobile in Mobile AL is offering homeschoolers amazing 3-hour workshops this semester given by the college professors!

Wednesday October 14th (ages 10 - 12) 1pm-4pm ~ Beginning Ceramics. They will use the pottery wheels 15 person max

Cost: 
$25 first student in family; with siblings only costing $15

University of Mobile is very excited to be partnering with us homeschoolers, and plans for the spring semester are shaping up even bigger, with the possibility of a homeschooler summer camp this coming summer! This is a GREAT opportunity for those doing college visits to get on the campus and spend time in a classroom!
