Money can be refunded up until the 24th of August or will be if we don't have the minimum number of 15 people sign up.
Please also include in your email: Lunch Preference vote/special needs, Your name, and Ages (if not an adult) and Grade Level. The Hands On activity will be based upon the grade levels involved.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. We will meet just in front of the main entrance, by the Space Monkey Memorial, which is right beside a covered picnic area. Please allow 3-6 hours to complete all activities and to explore.
We will have full access to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, at least a one hour tour with a guide (they say most guides stick with the group throughout the day), an itinerary for our day, an IMAX movie (which will most likely be one of the following: Journey To Space, Space Hubble or Airplanes), a lunch, a hands on lab activity, ISS presentation, Shuttle Park, Rocket Park, Saturn 5 Hall, featured exhibits, access to all the rides and rock climbing wall. Our itinerary will be adjusted if there is rain to include more indoor activities. I'd suggest bringing an umbrella if it rains. Please dress accordingly for the weather, with comfortable walking shoes.
We must, as a group, agree on only one option for the lunch. The options are hot dogs, hamburgers or cheese pizza. I believe a vote will be the best way to determine the one lunch option. Also note if you or your child is a vegetarian or has gluten allergies so that the lunch menu can be adjusted for you. Lunch also includes chips, drink and a cookie.
T shirts are available for our field trip for an extra fee. Costs range from $9.95 to $12.95 per shirt depending upon sizing (Youth Large to Adult 4XL). Paypal Payment is due by August 1, 2016 to have them ready. There is a minimum order of 15 shirts per group. Shirts will be distributed 15 minutes prior to field trip. Please email me if you are interested in a Field Trip T shirt, and I will send you the info. The gift shop also has a great selection of T shirts, apparel and souvenirs.
