15107 Al Hwy 71, Pisgah, AL Tuesday, November 29th
Arrive by 11:30 to eat your own picnic lunch, or by 11:50 to join us for the tour at noon.
Event information: I'll add a more accurate description once I get it in an email from the owner, but for now this is the description from their website: "Our tours consist of a 10-15 minute educational demonstration on propagating our plants, planting, shearing and the general upkeep of the farm. We also discuss the importance of our environmental friendly water system."
"After the tour, the kids will love visiting our petting zoo full of fuzzy farm friends. Your visit also includes our corn bin for the kids to play in, the walking trail, a train ride, and storytime with Mrs. Claus."
"During your visit our concessions stand will be open for snacks and beverages at reasonable prices."
In addition to what is said above, she said there would be an art activity.
The cost for children and adults is $8 each. You may also purchase your Christmas tree there, if you would like.
We are aiming for afternoon, rather than morning, to avoid the public school crowds of the morning. We will begin the tour at noon. Arrive by 11:30 if you want to allow time to eat your own picnic lunch before we get started. Arrive by 11:50 if you are coming just for the tour and activities.
I will not count an RSVP until I have payment in hand. To RSVP, please email me at email@example.com, providing me with: your name, the number in your group, and the ages of the children in your group. I will provide you with my mailing address to send a check.
When I have your check, I will add you to the list. Deadline for signup, payment, and cancellation is Tuesday, November 15th.
This event is sponsored by Everest Academy but open to all homeschoolers. When you RSVP you agree to the Everest Academy participation policy. http://www.alabamahomeschooling.com/2014/07/everest-academy-participation-policy.html
